This article follows on from the Eric Garner case as well as the Michael Brown case, and criticises the justice system in America, stating and giving evidence that racial inequality is very real when it comes to crime. 
The writer questions why African-Americans are seemingly targeted more by, often white, police officers and how they are more harshly treated when on trial etc. It only proves that this very hot topic deserves to be properly handled and taken seriously by those in authority, as many believe the outcomes of both the Garner and Brown case were huge injustices and were clearly favouring the guilty officers who killed two people. This shows that there needs to be a change in America, most notably a change in positions of power, as it seems to be that there are many racists in power as they try to defend these acts of murder in the streets.
